Segment Synopsis: Dan shares his memories from the 2001 Old Timers Hockey Challenge that he went to with his son, Robert, who was about 5 at the time. He shares that he and his son got selected to meet the players and he has a picture of his son with Marcel Dionne, who also signed a puck for his son. He mentions that after the game he was so happy that he brought home one of the posters that were hanging in the arena and framed it.

Hull was the honourary coach for the Old Timers Hockey Challenge and Dan recalls meeting Hull before the game. Dan then discusses the Buffalo Sabres Alumni charity game played at the Garden City Arena in 2002 where the proceeds went to supporting the people impacted by 9/11.

Segment Synopsis: Dan shares his memory of going to a Junior B St. Catharines Falcons game in 1999 with his son, his neighbour and his neighbour’s son. It was announced that Walter Gretzky was attending the game and signing pictures for charity for $10. He recalled that he didn’t have $10 on him so his neighbour asked the man behind him if he could borrow the money for the autograph. The man agreed without hesitation and Dan got the autograph of Walter Gretzky for his son and he paid the man back later.
